The investigations on “Studies on screening of different rice germplasm for resistance to yellow stem borer, Scirpophaga incertulas” were carried out at research farm, dept. of Entomology, T.D.P.G. college, Jaunpur (U.P.) during two consecutive kharif seasons of 2003 and 2004. Out of 60 germplasm screened, 35 were rated as resistant, 29 were found moderately resistant and 6 were identified as susceptible during kharif 2003, while during kharif 2004, 31, 21 and 8 germplasm were rated as resistant, moderately resistant and susceptible, respectively.
