Forty genotypes ofchlckpel!. evaluated In RBD with 3 replication. and data
were analy.ed for genetic variability, heritability and genetic advance. Twelve
quantitative character. were .tudled and It wa. revealed that .electlon I. likely to
be effective for 100 .eed. rna", pods/plant and .eed yield/plant and to some
extent, length of pod b.arlng branch, harvest index, secondary branches/plant
and .eeds/pod.
