Twenty six promising ilafflower entries Including iour checks were screened
for their reaction to aphid. Results revealed 6at, seven entries viz. PI-245 7, f11199932,
PI-306934, PI-306983, PI-220283, PI-77 and N-1536 recorded the
foliage drying gradoil-l showlr:g highly tolerant reaction to C1phid. Among the rest
of the entries, seven entries (PI-35, JLSF-88, JLSF-I03, SSF-3, SSF-40, SSF-17
and SSF-31) were grouped under tolerant cat~gory and eleven entries (BLY-652,
JLSF-93, JLSF-98, NS-I021-1, JSI·7, No. 16, PI-193475, B-69, Bhima, A-I
and 83) under moderately tolerant category.
