Seven chickpea genotypes were planted for hybridization, out of which five were used as female and two were used as male parents. The emasculation was followed by immediate pollination. Number of pod set was recorded every week and success rate of crosses in per cent was computed. Low minimum temperature, low relative humidity and more. sunshine hours played major role for higher success rate.
