Eight quantitative traits were studied in a randomized experiment consisting of 24 chickpea genotypes. Results of correlation analysis revealed that seed yield was positively associated with harvest index, pods/plant, biological yield and secondary branches/plant while negatively correlated with plant height. Among the yield compponents pods/plant positively associated with secondary branches/plant and biological yield/plant, while negatively related to 100-seed weight.
