Nine entries of Sesamum were evaluatetf for their multiple resistances to diseases during 1998–99 and 1999–2000. The entries MT-15, DS-15 DS-10 shown moderately susceptible reaction to powdery midew. The entries MT-15, DS-7, DS-14, E-8 showed moderately resistant type of reaction against bacterial leaf blight. The genotypes MT-15, DS-14 and DS-10 recording 3.2, 4.0 and 4.0 disease grade respectively showed moderately resistant type of reaction against alternaria blight. The genotypes MT-15, DOR5–102, DS-14, DS-10 showed multiple disease resistance against powdery mildew, alternaria blight and bacterial leaf blight diseases
