An experiment was conducted during 1996–97 at Raipur (C.G.) to find out the optimum irrigation schedule and performance of nitrification inhibitor on sunflower. The results revealed that application of irrigation at 0.6 IW/CPE increased the seed yield and water use efficiency and 60 kg N/ha treated with nitrification inhibitor performed similar to that of 80 kg N/ha without treating with nitrification inhibitor.
