ABSTRACT

A study on erect of spacings and fertilizer combinations on growth and yield of knol-khol cv. White Vienna revealed that all the growth and yield contributing parameters except leaf breadth, horizontal head length and yield did not differ with spacing. However, in fertilizer combinations, all the growth and yield attributes except horizontal knob length significantly increased as the level of fertilizer combinations increases. A spacing of 25x25 cm and NPK @ 140:120:120 kg/ha were found most effective treatments for obtaining high yield of knot-khol.
