A field trial was conducted during kharif 1999 to determine the most efficient pheromone trap for capturing pink bollworm adult males. The results indicated that the pheromorie lure of Murkumbi and Ecomax though equally effective, the local trap with blue sleeve collected the highest adult moths while Ecomax trap possessing white transparent sleeve was found less attractive to adult moths.
