A field experiment was conducted at fixed site on loamy sand (Typic Ustipsamments soil of Sardar Krushinagar to study the effect of fertilizer N and Gliricidia leaves on the yield of c1usterbean, and pearl millet crops grown in rotation, during kharif seasons of 1991–92 to 1998–99. The results revealed that incorporation of Gliricidia leaves alone or in combination with fertilizer N enhanced the yield of clusterbean and also improved the status of organic carbon, available P and K in soil under rainfed condition
