A field experlemnt was conducted during 1994–95 to evaluate the performance of introduced banana cultlvars viz., Zelic, Grand-Naine, Williams along with Basrai under Jalgaon region of Maharashtra state. Most of the plant growth characters, as well as yield and their attributes were found to be better than the control. All three introduced cultivars perfonned better in comparision with Basrai under Jalgaon condition of Maharashtra.
