A field experiment was conducted during kharif season of 1998–99, 1999–00 and 2000–01, to study the profitability of sorghum (Sorghum bicolor (L.) Moench) + Soybean {Glycine max (L.) Merr.} in various row proportions. Results indicated that sole sorghum recorded significantly higher NMR, but at par with 2:1 and 3:3. Sorghum equivalent values indicated that inter cropping system of Soybean + Sorghum 2:1 recorded significantly higher sorghum equivalent than other treatments.
