Seeds of sunflower cv. Morden were coated with dried leaf powders of Albizzia amaraPongamia pinnata,Moringa tinctoriaProsopis julifloraVitex negundo and Azhadirachta indica and stored in cloth bag for six months. Results revealed that Moringa leaf powder was the best for sunflower seed coating recording maximum germination and vigour both before and after storage. However, leaf powders did not influence seed storability.
