Correlation coefficients and path coefficient analysis of component characters towards seed yield/plant in tossa jute were worked out from F2and F3 generations following 7 x 7 half diallel set of hybrids. Capsules/plant, fresh plant weight and capsule diameter in F2 and capsule length, capsule diameter, seeds/capsule and seed weight in F3 played important role for high seed yield in tossa jute.
