The experiment was conducted during the kharif 2002 at farmers’ field to study the effect of varieties and fertilizer levels on yield attributes and yield of clusterbean. Clusterbean variety RGC-936 being at par with RGC-197 gave significantly higher grain yield and yield attributes over local variety (farmer seed) and per cent increase in the grain yield was 22.8 and 17.9 over local variety, respectively. Application of full recommended dose of fertilizers (15 kg N ha−1 + 40 kg P2O5 ha−1) significantly increased the grain and straw yields of clusterbean by 55.7 and 60.9 per cent over control, respectively
