A field experiment was conducted during rabi season of 2000-2001 to identify the weed problems in pea. Pre-emergence application Fluchloralin at 1.0 kg ha-1 + hand weeding at 30 DAS significantly reduced the total weed density and dry weight. This treatment also gave maximum values of dry matter accumulation, No. of pods/plant, grains/pod and the grain yield.
