Two hundred F3 and F4 lines of Indian mustard [Brassica juncea (L.) Czern and Coss] were evaluated in an augmented randomized block design with five blocks and four checks to assess genetic variation and select desirable progenies for seed and oil yield. Observations were recorded on ten characters. On the basis of mean value, progenies RANCHI LOCAL FAR III, BPR-560-20, BPR-560-13, 150-B-J4-6 and 141-B-161-DI were identified high yielder for seed as well as oil yield.
