Two sowing dates viz., Normal (11th Nov.) and Late (27th Nov.) with six varieties viz., GW 344, HD 2189, Raj 4037, MACS 2846, NIDW 295 and GW 1189 were tested in split plot design on medium black soil to study the response of different varieties for normal and late sown conditions. The results revealed that normal sowing of wheat crop recorded maximum grain yield (27.77 q/ha) than late sowing.
