A field experiment was conducted during kharif season of 2004 to evaluate the effect of planting geometry and nitrogen levels on black aromatic rice. The maximum grain yield and monetary returns were obtained with the spacing of 10x10 cm. Similarly, the application of nitrogen at 60 kg/ha resulted in highest grain yield, net income and cost benefit ratio.
