CORRELATION STUDY IN POTATO VARIETY KUFRI CHANDRAMUKI UNDER RAINFED CONDITION

Field experiment was conducted to study the correlation between yield and growth and yield components of potato variety “Kufri Chandarmuki” at main research station, University of Agricultural sciences, Dharwad. The results revealed that positive and significant correlation between tuber yield and growth attributes namely plant height( r=0.977), total dry matter production per plant ( r=0.797) but negative and significant correlation between dry matter production in tubers per plant (r=0.782). Number of tubers per plant (r=0.818) and weight of tubers per plant (r=0.782) were positively and significantly correlated with tuber yield
