Isoproturon, Sulfosulfuron, fenoxaprop-p-ethyl, isoproturon in combination with 2,4-D were evaluated against weeds in wheat. All the herbicidal treatments significantly reduced the dry weight of weeds. Sulfosulfuron was very effective against weeds compared to other herbicidal treatments. Tank mixture of isoproturon + 2,4-D at 1000 + 500 g ha-1 respectively was found ineffective. The grain yield recorded with sulfosulfuron at 30 g ha-1 was similar to weed-free treatment.
