Three research coded herbal liver stimulants were fed to Vencob broilers distributed randomly into four groups of 100 chicks each. T 1 was control group with basal diet while T 2, T 3 and T 4 treatments were supplemented with liver stimulants coded as B, C and D @ 500 gm, 500 gm and 250 gm/ton of feed respectively. The results revealed that in the groups supplemented with herbal liver stimulants, feed consumption was significantly more (P < 0.01) and had efficient feed conversion ratio (P 0.01) as compared to control group. However, group T 4, having Spirulina as one of the ingredients of diet, failed to exhibit better feed consumption and FCR.
