Garlic (Allium Sativum) is also becoming a main horticulture crop in Shopure District of Madhya Pradesh. Its occupied about more than 1500 ha. area in year 2011-12. Its productivity in district was low up to 2009-10 due to lack of improved variety and non-adoption of improve technology. Krishi Vigyan Kendra Sheopure has conducted demonstration of variety G-323 and improved technologies at farmer fields from 2011-12 to 2012-13. The results of demonstration revealed that garlic variety G-323 along with other improved practices gave average yield, 154.79 quintal/ha. which was 15.69 % higher over farmers practices on the basis of average yield during the study period. Economic analysis showed that demonstration recorded average higher net return of Rs. 26333/ha. A higher B:C ratio 3.035 was obtained under demonstration as compared 2.58 B:C ratio under local farmer's practices.
