A total 11 improved varieties of three pulses viz. lentil, chickpea and field pea were assessed. It was found that lentil var. K 75 and DPL 62 gave the significantly higher grain yield and economics over the local. Chickpea var. DCP 92-3, JG 315, and KGD 1168 were found superior. Field pea var. KPMR 522, KPMR 400 and Sapna were found significantly superior over other cultivars.
