Removal of leaf from the plant affects crop yield. Therefore, the present method has been
devised to estimate leaf area under field condition without plucking leaf, where area of blackgram .
(Vigna mungo L. Hepper) leaf can be estimated Safely as a product of leaf length and maximum leaf width, multiplied by a constant 0.6124.
