The allelopathic potential of aqueous extract of Lantana camara L. on Germination of kodo
(PaspaJum scrobicuJatunn L.) was investigated. Root, stem, leaf and stem + leaf of Lantana camara L. were allowed to decay for the period of five, seven, nine and eleven days corresponding to 120, 168, 216 and 264 hrs as per treatment in normal water in the ratio of 1 : 10 w/vof plant
material and water, respectively. the extracts were applied on kodo seeds. Different extracts
produced significant allelopathic effects on germination.
