Application of 80 kg S hit −1, 60 kg P 2O 5 ha −1 and Rhizobium inoculation significantly increased net return of c1usterbean over control by 38.7, 24.0 and 8.4 per cent, respectively. The correlation and regression equations were worked out to-establish cause and effect relation between yield attributes and yield of clusterbean. Correlation coefficient study revealed that the seed yield was significantly and highly positively correlated with number of pods per plant (0.96), number of seeds per pod (0.98), test weight (0.97) and total uptake of nitrogen (0.99), phosphorus (0.97) and sulphur (0.79).
