In the study involving ten genotypes of sesame (Sesamum indicum L.) significant differences with respect to chlorophyll and leaf nitrogen content were recorded at all the stages (30, 45, 60 and 75 DAS) and the genotypes E-8, OMT-10 and RT-54 registered the maximum Chl-a, Chl-b, total chlorophyll and leaf nitrogen content at all these stages, these three genotypes also recorded the maximum seed yield.
