The study is aimed at investigating the impact of training programs conducted by Extension Education Institute (EEI) Nilokheri (Haryana) in Jharkhand State. The main objective of EEI, Nilokheri is to provide training to the middle level extension personnel of land based departments of nine northern states of the country viz., Bihar, Jharkhand, U.P., Delhi, Utrakhand, H.P., Punjab, Haryana, J&K and Master Trainer of state Agricultural Universities. The results of investigation revealed that the impact of extension methodology courses created significantly positive impact. The overall increase in knowledge level of the participants in different area of extension methodology after the training was high. This way training programs were found to be highly relevant and useful. Efforts were made to meet their training needs by improving their motivational levels, extension methodology skills and use of Audio visual aids.
