Legacy of ARCC Journals
The legacy of ARCC Journals can be seen in their impact on the field of agriculture, veterinary, and related disciplines. The journals have published many influential articles and research studies over the years, which have contributed to the advancement of knowledge in these fields.
Its mission is the fast communication of research related to agricultural and animal sciences through its initial publication of two journals - Indian Journal of Agricultural Research” and “Indian Journal of Animal Research under the banner “Agricultural Research Communication Centre” (ARCC). These two journals have been a major force in the development of agriculture and veterinary science, and have published many influential articles on various related subjects.
The journals have helped foster collaboration and communication among scholars and practitioners in the field and have helped establish a sense of community among those interested in advancing in their respective fields.
The legacy of ARCC Journals is one of scholarly excellence, innovation, and community-building. These journals have helped to shape the field of agricultural, veterinary, dairy, and related disciplines, and will continue to play an important role in advancing knowledge and promoting collaboration in the years to come.
Invaluable Service to Humanity & Scientific Community
With the growth of the country’s resources, the scientific manpower in the nation has increased significantly in the form of new institutions and agricultural universities.
The international agencies have also helped in this cause by allocating funds for agricultural research, creating various research projects, World Bank, and international research schemes.
But in the absence of sufficient scientific journals and periodicals, the scientists were finding it hard to express their opinions with their fellow brothers inside the country and abroad.
ARCC has done an incredible job to reduce this gap by introducing more specialized periodicals to cater to the needs of the scientific community, farmers, and students brilliantly.
Now, publishing seven world-class research periodicals, ARCC is growing rapidly both in name and influence. At ARCC journals, we adhere to the notion of ethical practice and stop the abuse of scientific research works with the highest of standards.
What makes us unique?
ARCC Journals is unique in that it serves as a platform for disseminating scholarly research and academic discourse. Some factors that can make our journals stand out and be unique include:
An Excellent Contribution towards Fast Dissemination of Scientific Research
ARCC Journals have led to a significant increase in scientific manpower in India along with the rise of agricultural universities, institutions, schemes, and projects. ARCC Journals help to disseminate the findings of scholarly research to a wider audience, including other researchers, scholars, professionals, and the general public. This helps to advance knowledge and understanding in various fields and allows researchers to build on the work of others.
An Extensive & Specialized Coverage of various Agriculture & Animal Husbandry Disciplines
The most important contribution is the extensive and specialized coverage of important aspects within agriculture, animal, and dairy science. Although earlier they didn’t exist under one roof, ARCC has done a fabulous job by making it possible.
While the ‘Indian Journal of Agricultural Research’ (IJAR) publishes lengthy articles based on plant and soil science, the ‘Agricultural Science Digest’ publishes small articles and notes.
The ‘Indian Journal of Animal Research’ published the views of animal scientists and the veterinary/production side while the ‘Asian Journal of Dairy and Food Research’ is a reputed spokesman for dairy scientists, production, processing, and management aspects.
The periodical ‘Agricultural Reviews’ renders a unique service to the scientific community by publishing classified scientific review papers related to animal, agriculture, and dairy research.
The ‘Legume Research’ journal highlights and applies the fundamental aspects of legumes/pulses research. The ‘Agricultural Research Newsletter publishes the content and abstracts of the articles presented in the above journals and is an abstracting service for scientists in India and abroad.
