Weeds compete with the crop plants for nutrients, moisture, light and space and thus reduce crop yields. For getting higher yields itis essential to control weeds at appropriate time with suitable methods. This review discusses weed management in pea crop. Major weeds associated with this crop, losses caused by weeds, nutrient removal by weeds, crop-weed competition and methods of weed control are covered in this review.
