A field experiment was carried out at Allahabad during kharif 2005 to study the effect of biofertilizers and sulphur levels on growth and yield of Blackgram. The treatments comprised of seed inoculation withRhizobium and PSB and different levels of sulphur (0, 20 and 30 kg ha−1). The results revealed that application of sulphur @ 20 kg ha−1 + dual inoculation with Rhizobium and PSB significantly increased the growth characters and yield of blackgram.
